A diffuser ring is used to spread the aroma and healing properties of an essential oil through the safe application of heat.To use: Place the ceramic diffuser ring around a standard-sized light bulb in your lamp, and put several drops of your favorite essential oil inside it. When you turn on the lamp, the heat from the light bulb will activate the aromatic and healing properties of the essential oil, and within a few minutes you have an aroma-therapeutic environment.
When you inhale the aroma of the essential oil, you also absorb it through the mucous membranes of your nose and sinuses, which then put it into the bloodstream. So in addition to enjoying the fragrance, you are also helping your body to put the essential oil's healing properties to work.
